Welcome to the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix

The Raceway at Belle Isle Park bristled with excitement as world-class auto racing returned to the Motor City on Labor Day weekend in 2007 and 2008. Over $7 million in improvements were made to Belle Isle as a result of the race’s return. Due to the tough economic conditions in Michigan and throughout the nation, the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix has been postponed for 2009. All of the latest information on the Grand Prix will continue to be posted here at DetroitGP.com.
