HOW TO GET TO THE CHEVROLET DETROIT BELLE ISLE GRAND PRIX
Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix attendees are required to use the round-trip Q-itUp! Grand Prix Shuttles powered by XYQ that run continuously from convenient locations in Downtown Detroit. Grand Prix parking is NOT available on Belle Isle.

Parking available Friday, Saturday and Sunday - May 31st, June 1st and 2nd
• Cobo Hall Roof Parking

• Marina Lots located near Atwater and Orleans
Available Saturday and Sunday Only - June 1st and 2nd
• Street level parking lots east of the Renaissance Center
• Renaissance Center Parking Decks (Beaubien, Port Atwater and Franklin Street)
All shuttle passengers will be dropped off and returned from a staging area on Belle Isle, near the Grand Prix entrance.

Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2:
• Round-trip shuttles will run continuously from 7 am to 10 pm or until all guests are accommodated
• Starting at 4 pm each day, all downtown shuttles departing from Belle Isle will stop at every parking location in reverse order of pick-up (refer to PDF)
• Guests may board any Q-itUp! Grand Prix Shuttle powered by XYQ to return to their lot

Downtown Detroit:
• Round-trip Shuttle Wristband per day is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 12 and under
• $5 per vehicle parking at Marina Lots
• Parking is $10 per vehicle at Cobo Roof, Joe Louis Arena, Renaissance Center area lots and all parking decks
WHEELCHAIR (ADA) SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE
Transportation for individuals with physical disabilities attending the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix will be available throughout the weekend. Vans accommodating up to two wheelchairs at one time (and companions) will be exclusively dedicated for this purpose and will service all of the event’s official parking lots.
Upon arrival, anyone needing this service is asked to notify the Lot Supervisor, who will then radio for a van to be immediately dispatched to the appropriate parking lot.
Starting at 3 pm each afternoon, several ADA Vans will be staged on the west side of the Q-itUp! Transportation Center powered by XYQ for these same guests to return to their parking lots.
Continuous operating hours for these specially equipped shuttles are as follows:
Friday, May 31: 7 am – 10 pm
Saturday, June 1: 7 am – 10 pm
Sunday, June 2: 7 am – 10 pm
Pricing for this round-trip shuttle service is $10 per adult and $5 per child.
WINDSOR SHUTTLE BUS INFORMATION
The City of Windsor is once again partnering with the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix for great value and great fun!Canadian race fans can take advantage of a number of affordable packages to get right to the excitement on Belle Isle.
Packages include round-trip bus fare to and from the race as well as grandstand seats in the Canadian Grandstand 2, adjacent to the Start/Finish line.
Ticket packages are available at the WFCU Centre and all five Windsor Customer Care Centres (Adie Knox Herman Recreation Complex, Optimist Community Centre, Gino A. Marcus Community Complex, Forest Glade Community Centre, and South Windsor Recreation Complex.) Single day packages start at $55 CDN, while 2-day tickets start at $105 CDN. All prices include HST. Or, if you have tickets and just want to ride the bus, the fare is $12 CDN round-trip.
Departure from the downtown Windsor International Transit Terminal starts at 8:00 am on Saturday and Sunday, with shuttles operating on demand until 2:00 pm.
On Friday, race fans can use the Windsor Tunnel Bus and connect with a Grand Prix Shuttle Bus behind the Renaissance Center.
Return trips Saturday from Belle Isle will begin running immediately following the race and will continue running until 30 minutes after the concert ends. Return trips on Sunday from Belle Isle begin immediately following the race, and will continue until 30 minutes after the race conclusion or until all passengers are returned to Canada.
Don’t forget: Appropriate identification is required to cross the border in both directions.
FERRY SERVICE
Take the scenic route to Belle Isle via the Detroit Grand Prix Ferry Service. Service runs from the Detroit Port Authority Building, located at 120 Atwater Street at the corner of Bates Street, to the Harbormaster Station.
Ferry boats run to/from Belle Isle approximately every 30 minutes daily, between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., during the event. ADDITIONAL PARKING AND SHUTTLE INFORMATION
People Mover Stations
If you are parking in another location in downtown Detroit and wish to ride the Q-itUp! Grand Prix Shuttles powered by XYQ to Belle Isle, it is recommended to take the Detroit People Mover to Cobo Center or Joe Louis Arena stations to board the shuttles.
The normal routes for public transportation providers, including DDOT, SMART Bus and Detroit People Mover, will remain in effect during the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. If I can’t park on Belle Isle, can I park near Belle Isle and walk to the Grand Prix?
A. There is no sanctioned Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix parking available near Belle Isle. Public parking should occur at the Downtown Park & Ride lots only. It is not recommended to park near the island and walk to the Grand Prix. Illegal parking will be strictly prohibited.
Q. If I want to visit Belle Isle’s other amenities on the part of the island not involved with the Grand Prix, can I drive on the island?
A. On Friday, May 31 those wishing to drive to other attractions on Belle Isle will be permitted to drive onto the island, but will be directed away from the Grand Prix area by security personnel.
On Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2, access to Belle Isle will be limited to vehicles with proper Grand Prix access passes. Grand Prix parking will NOT be permitted on Belle Isle without proper credentials.

Q. Rather than taking the Ferry Service both ways, I prefer to return from Belle Isle on a shuttle bus. Can I do that?
A. Yes. You will receive a shuttle wristband when you purchase your ferry trip and by wearing that wristband, you will be allowed to board one of the shuttle buses for the return trip on the Downtown Loop. While there is no shuttle stop at the Miller Garage, drop-off locations near the Renaissance Center and Cobo Roof are both within walking distance.
