Below are additional resources to assist you with parking and navigation.
Detroit People Mover
The Detroit People Mover is the best option for determining a parking location outside of the venue. By utilizing the People Mover, you can exit the transit system at the Renaissance Center station, putting you directly inside the venue footprint.
Note: There is a $.75 fee for a one-way trip. Tokens for the People Mover can be purchased at the station. Cash transactions only; there are no ATMs in the stations. For more information and to see parking locations near each stop, please visit the People Mover website.
The QLine is a free transportation option along Woodward Avenue that connects Downtown Detroit with Midtown, New Center and North End. The QLine allows guests to park outside of Downtown Detroit during race weekend, and provides a free ride that will get them close to the track. Those using the Q-Line will get off the transit at Congress stop #1.
Download the Park Detroit App for information on parking locations around Downtown Detroit. The app allows you to pre-purchase and reserve your parking. We suggest utilizing the Park Detroit App to determine parking locations, along with the Detroit People Move or QLine to get close to the venue. Note - this vendor is not affiliated with the Detroit Grand Prix.
